CENTELLA ASIATICA EXOSOMES – A biomimetic vector component with high regenerative activity. Exosomes are extracellular vesicles secreted by plant cells and contain highly active signaling molecules: microRNAs, lipids, proteins, enzymes and peptides. Exosomes from Centella Asiatica are obtained by membrane isolation and standardized filtration. These vesicles retain the biological activity of the key components of Centella – madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and phytosterols, while they are packaged in a natural lipid shell, which ensures deep and targeted penetration into the skin. Exosomes have high bioavailability, providing targeted delivery of regenerative signals to skin cells
The main mechanisms of influence of centella exosomes on skin damage:
1. Stimulation of reparative processes
Exosomes activate the expression of genes associated with wound healing and remodeling of the extracellular matrix (MMPs, TIMPs, TGF-β, VEGF). This accelerates fibroblast proliferation, synthesis of collagen types I and III, as well as fibronectin and laminin – key proteins of dermal architecture.
2. Enhancement of angiogenesis
Due to the activation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), exosomes contribute to the restoration of microcirculation in damaged skin, which is critically important in conditions of hypoxia after procedures (lasers, dermabrasion, chemical burns, etc.).
3. Anti-inflammatory effect
Centella exosomal components reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β) and reduce the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, which leads to a rapid reduction in inflammation, hyperemia and edema.
4. Strengthening the barrier function
Exosomes stimulate lipid synthesis in the stratum corneum and accelerate the restoration of connections between cells, thereby helping to restore the skin barrier and reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
5. Antioxidant protection and protection against photodamage
Asiaticoside and madecassoside in exosomes have the ability to neutralize free radicals and enhance the activity of the skin’s own antioxidant enzymes (catalase, superoxide dismutase).
NIACINAMIDE (vitamin B3) – a multifunctional dermatological component with an action aimed at reducing inflammation, strengthening the skin barrier and regulating sebum secretion. Improves microcirculation, strengthens the lipid barrier and helps restore normal skin immunity.
Niacinamide is a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD⁺) and NADP⁺, key coenzymes in cellular metabolism that participate in redox reactions, maintaining the energy balance of the cell (glycolysis, Krebs cycle, oxidative phosphorylation). By increasing the level of NADPH, niacinamide enhances the activity of the cell’s antioxidant systems (glutathione, thioredoxin), protecting the skin from photodamage and premature aging. Niacinamide inhibits the activity of nuclear factor κB (NF-κB), which regulates the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α), reducing inflammation and preventing tissue damage. In addition, niacinamide reduces the activity of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that stimulates sebum production. This helps control oiliness and reduce breakouts. Niacinamide inhibits the transport of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes, thereby reducing hyperpigmentation and brightening the skin. It also increases the expression of genes encoding procollagen-1 and enzymes involved in its maturation, which helps reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.
BETAINE – A natural osmolyte with pronounced osmoregulatory properties, helps regulate the water balance of skin cells by maintaining intracellular moisture and protecting cellular structures from osmotic stress. Betaine prevents skin dehydration caused by impaired barrier function after procedures, reduces irritation and sensitivity by stabilizing cell membranes, provides instant and long-lasting hydration, improving the elasticity and appearance of the skin, has a mild anti-inflammatory effect, reducing burning and tingling sensations. Betaine is particularly effective in the rehabilitative care of dry, reactive, damaged skin, and can even be used for skin diseases with a disrupted epidermal barrier (for example, after laser and acid procedures).
ALOE VERA EXTRACT a complex with proven antiseptic, wound healing and moisturizing properties. Supports the antioxidant status of the skin, softens and accelerates regeneration.
Contains over 75 active substances: amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, polysaccharides and phytosterols, thanks to which it effectively soothes irritated and hypersensitive skin, accelerates epithelialization and tissue regeneration, increases the level of moisture in the skin due to the content of polysaccharides, promotes the healing of microdamages that have occurred after invasive procedures (microneedling, lasers, etc.)
SWITZERLAND GLACIER WATER – Glacier water is an environmentally friendly natural source with a high content of minerals and trace elements: calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and zinc. This water is distinguished by a unique balance of salts and a high degree of purity. Swiss glacial water quickly restores the physiological pH of the skin, provides mineral support for cellular metabolism during the healing phase, has a toning and anti-stress effect on the skin, reducing sensitivity, maintains antioxidant protection thanks to the content of ions that reduce oxidative damage after procedures, helps reduce transepidermal water loss, while maintaining the integrity of the skin barrier.
